Drinky Talky Thingy Episode #55: Still not entirely certain what we are doing to this day
So every few weeks we get this sense that we have finally gained the skills to call ourselves proper podcasters, we congratulate ourselves on a good show, all that shit.
Then the podcasting gods take notice and choose to remind us ‘You are winging it, you have no idea what you are actually doing’ and throw us a curve-ball to remind us of place.
This time it was the fact that despite sounding perfectly fine to us while we were recording, Alec (who had joined us to talk about Resident Evil 6) had been recorded with so much reverb & crackle it was unreal.
So for only the 2nd or 3rd time in the history of the Drinky Talky Thingy, editing was done. Let me tell you there are so many buttons in Audition that do weird and wonderful things, its fun to play when you are drunk. Anyway I managed to clean up Alec’s audio to the point where you can actually hear what he is saying most of the time but be prepared to hear some crackle to his parts still.
How audio issues aside we did manage to get quite a lot covered in this show, obviously there was more news about SOPA, there was also a whole pile of Xbox rumours to talk about, we took the piss out of Zynga for ripping off Nimblebit’s Tiny Tower, I rambled on for a bit about Blizzard based news and we even had time at one point to debate why the hell everyone on our facebook friends lists is getting pregnant all of a sudden.
All that and much more in this episode of the Drinky Talky Thingy.
