Poor guy scribbles on a wall to warn you, but still gets nailed by some turrets.

Now here’s the thing, Gow did tell me I had to start this post with a word – but for the life of me I cant remember what it is.

I think it was one of the random word that he didn’t quite manage to fit in.

Anyway, this week saw Gow returning after a week off with some form of plague and the good news is the podcast got back to full length again.

So with all my needed stalling done enjoy this weeks podcast.

Ok, how did someone manage to get a picture of me first thing in the morning?

Well its been a while since I last had to do a podcast solo, unfortunately this week Gow was ill.

The one thing that has to be said – what the hell??

I remember that in the early episodes we would have trouble filling an hour when both of us were on form.

Now the podcasts last nearly 2 hours at the best of times and even when recording solo I’m pushing the 1hr mark.

Hopefully next week we will be back up to full strength, and as always links to everything in this episode are below.

So without further stalling for space, enjoy the cast

Its been a while since we built a beer tower during a podcast, but Gow just felt the need this week

Another week, another episode.

We are however getting a bunch of new visitors to the site recently so I should probably explain what it is.

I am Paddy ‘DrunkenGamer’ Fellows lead game reviewer at Thirteen1 magazine. My regular co-host is Dan ‘Gow’ Gowen who T1′s graphics guru for nearly 2 years.

Each week we get together and have a few beers while we talk about a bunch of the interesting gaming news, giving our take on events. Occasionally we will also be joined by our other friends for T1 and beyond.

Obviously having a bit of beer in us we do tend to lose track from time to time, but that is always fun.

If there is anything you here in the podcast that you want a little more detail on the links to all the sources we used are included here on the page after the player.

I think that about sums it up for now, there is nothing else to say but enjoy this episode of the Drinky Talky Thing!

Only Gow could be this bad at pouring a pint

Maybe I am just getting better at picking the news stories.
Perhaps there is just more news to cover.
More likely that we start drinking before the recording starts now.

Whatever the reason these podcasts are getting longer each week. This weeks nearly broke the 2 hour mark.

For that reason we would like to hear from any of our listeners.

If you think there is anything we could do better, anything we should perhaps cut, even anything you think we should add – leave us a message in the comments.

Now without further blurb, here is this weeks podcast

Spot the Batman, win a prize!

I have to admit that this is absolutely the last thing I expected to be posting this week was this – Welcome to the 10th Episode of the Drinking Talky Thing!!

I knew it would happen but it has only been 10 weeks since we decided to restart the podcast & the episode count at the same time.

But shockingly we have managed to keep recording for 10 weeks and I am now galvanised to continue – we made double figures there is no way this will be anything less that weekly from here on in (even if Gow has to record it solo at some point)

Well without further stalling for layout reasons here is the latest episode of the podcast

This is a crisis. A large crisis. In fact, if you got a moment, it's a twelve-story crisis with a magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24-hour portage, and an enormous sign on the roof, saying 'This Is a Large Crisis'. A large crisis requires a large plan. Get me two pencils and a pair of underpants

A large crisis requires a large plan. Get me two pencils and a pair of underpants

Don’t be fooled by the images there is no crisis, I just had to get the images in there to solve one of the random words that Alec got asked to add. It was unfortunately too late for the recording but there was no way ‘Wibble!’ was going to be missed out.

As you may have already guessed, as well as the return of Gow to help round out the podcast, this week also saw a return Alec-Ross Bower. He joins us for the later part of the episode and has some very interesting things to say.

But the good thing about that image is that I also don’t need to do as much padding  :) So without further time-wasting, here is this episode
