Happy New Year!

Holy crap! We actually did it! We Actually made it through a full year of podcasting without missing a single week – sure some of them may have been a little short and others may have been a day or so late but they were there dammit!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for listening to our drunken ramblings for the last year, we have slowly been gaining listeners over the year and while we are still only a tiny podcast were still amazed that there is anyone out there at all listening too us. Seriously we are just a bunch of people having a drink and recording the outcome while talking about our hobby, we never really expected it to gain even a small following.

Looking forward to the new year, there are ideas in our heads on how to make things even more fun for you listeners – we will hopefully be able to give you more details about this soon.

Ok with that out of the way its time for an admission – I have a problem! No, it’s not the drinking, I am more than happy with the state of affairs in that area.

It’s my obsessive need to release a podcast every week without fail. Even this week where gow was otherwise engadged and I was in no fit state to be recording one had to be done.

Sure its only 5 minutes long and is me apologising for the lack of a real episode – but dammit it counts! Next weeks will also be a clip show – so if you have any suggestions – then let us know

Well after last week forgetting pretty much everything due to meme’s, this week I remember pretty much all of it due to drugs. Not illegal ones obviously but due to having a toothache so bad that I have ended up requiring both antibiotics & heavy painkillers, I thought drinking would be ill-advised.

So after months of trying to deny it I realised I had turned into a Sony Fanboy, Both me and Gow had a brain fart when it comes to the games of Insomniac & Naughty Dog and I complained about my self-inflicted pain.

Ok every week I tell you I have forgotten much of what we talked about, mere moments after we have finished recording. No while sometimes that is just an excuse to not have to write a proper intro paragraph for these things, normally it is true.

Alcohol is usually to blame, sleeping after afore mentioned alcohol comes a close second however tonight falls into category 3 – The Internet!

Episode #47: In everything a balance is needed

Movember may have ended but the Moustache lives on

Well it seems that we may have annoyed the podcast gods last week by having the extra host, as this week we were back to just me for the first time in quite a while.

This is because Gow’s partner Fiona has been very unwell recently, so I told him to stay at home and look after her. I’m sure we all hope she gets well soon.

One thing that has changed this week is that Movember has come to an end, however to balance that a little something new is that the Moustache grown during that month remains. I have come to like having the lip warmer and plan on keeping it for a while at least – probably just long enough to get some embarrassing pictures to terrify any kids I have with when they are teenagers :)
